As founder and principal of Wilkinson + Associates, she excels at translating her strategic vision to tactical action to create dynamic, fresh and above all, successful public relations, social media, content and marketing programs.
Leah’s key relationships with top industry influencers and her keen analytical skills keep her at the forefront of business, energy, telecom and technology news and research. She is a champion of “targeted strategy and tactics,” implementing both traditional and creative PR initiatives that allow Wilkinson + Associates’ clients to reach the audiences that most influence their success. She has a grounded and practical approach to social media that balances the opportunities of new applications with time-tested strategies.
Prior to co-founding WilkinsonShein (now W+A) in 2003, Leah was a Vice President, Public Relations with TMP Worldwide, where she worked with clients including Corning Optical Fiber, Corning Cable Systems, SUPERCOMM, ITS Services, NexTone Communications, Department of Veterans Affairs, Corvis, RBN, Inc., SUPERnet, Wisor Telecom and more.
Her client work and business acumen have received a variety of honors and awards, including the Stevie Awards, Holmes Report and the Hermes Awards. Leah received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications with honors from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
